No Kings Rally • Glenview IL • March 28, 2026

Wow!  What a rally.  500+ of our neighbors demonstrated their push back on Donald Trump, on his regime, on his secret police, on his policy agenda, on his despicable Justice Department, and on his illegal wars.

We wrote 1,000 postcards.  And thank you for all the donations for stamps.  We raised what we needed to send the postcards in April.

Thank you to our speakers. Each offered a story of inspiration and hope.

Scott Britton (Cook County Commissioner 14th District • Jennifer Gong-Gershowitz (IL State Representative 17th District) • Patrick Hanley (Democrat candidate for IL State Senate 9th District) • Dr. Hallah Akbarnia (ER doctor and local advocate) • Vince Pace (Northfield Township trustee, RRT, and local activist) • Ishaq Lat (Glenbrook Muslim Civic Organization) • Susan Gregory (President League of Women Voters Glenview-Glencoe) • Arpi Yazijian (local activist)

What's next after the rally?  Here's a list of local (or almost local) organization and causes to support mentioned at the rally.   Let's work to win the House and Senate in November, 2026!

Our Goals

For 2026, we have the following goals:

  1. Grow, inform, and engage a community of progressive activists in Glenview

  2. Support our Members of Congress (MOC) Reps. Jan Schakowsky, Brad Schneider as well as Senators Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth

  3. Help elect Democratic candidates in key races across the country

  4. Support progressive issues such as gun safety, voting rights, and women's health issues.

Our Activism

We support local advocacy. There are numerous opportunities for Indivisible Glenview to engage with the resistance movement across Chicagoland.

  1. Work with our Members of Congress (MoCs) to support their work and share our opinions.

  2. Attend Town Hall/Listening Sessions, marches, and rallies.

  3. Support the events of local Indivisible groups and activist organizations.

  4. Write postcards and canvas to support progressive candidates across the country
